Undefeated Champions!

Well, I suppose it's OK to revel in a great result for the season before the hard work of moving up to Div I begins.

The photos are in the usual spot

so please take a look. I have put the two group photos from the day at the end, so if you didn't see them on Sunday you can have a go at playing "Where's McWally?" on the family group one (take a close look - you'll see what I mean). I am happy to print and post A4 copies for £2 or A3 for £5 (+ £1.00 p&p for either size). Just let me know by email which sizes and to what address you want them sent.

Dave W has been helping me figure out how to let people other than me add comments to the blog. We believe it's possible now, so please go ahead and make some. It's also been suggested that Facebook would be a better place for a more interactive discussion - anyone got any comments on that? Oh, wait a minute, you can't add them....Hmm. This might take a while to resolve.

Sorry about the messy formatting. This blog software seems to just jam the photos in at random and it's time for me to go to bed now, so I won't take the time to fix it. Hopefully it will all make sense.

The corner flag seemed to feature quite a lot in the photos this week, one way or another....very stressful for the linesman - still, at least it kept him quiet. ish.

And am I the only person who noticed that every restart kick by Totts seemed to be aimed straight at Andrew Morgan? Maybe they looked at that sequence of shots from the Ruislip match and decided to target him. Well, he certainly made sure that their tactic didn't pay off, I don't think he dropped the ball all match....

And as for the group photos - enough said!

Chichester photos

Hi, all - Chichester photos are on the photo site - sorry for the small size, I'm running out of disk space on my hosting package. I'll have to delete some of the older ones from early in the season, so make sure you take a look and download any you want soon.

Caption competition:

"Was it something I said?"

By the way - congrats to Westgate on being the Year 9 Hampshire Schools Chanpions!!!
Cheers,
Martin.

More photos - this time from Havant League match

Hello again, all. The next batch are ready, and this brings me up to date with the photos I've taken. This time from the Havant game - the famous victory that got us onto the Sports Headline page from the Winchester Chronicle - thanks to Demelsa's match report!

(yes, the photo probably helped, too, but they definitely wouldn't carry it without the report)

Anyway, here's the link: http://www.testvalleyphotos.co.uk/WRFC/U14_09_10/Havant

(and don't forget www.harewoodgreenenergy.co.uk if you've got an open fire or wood-burning stove)

Cheers,

Martin.

Photos from Oxford 'Quins

Well, I know I'm, a bit behind, but I thought I would work backwards to try and catch up. I would never have thought that being redundant would be such hard work!

The Oxford Harlequins game was quite exciting and very back-and forth. As I recall we just won in the end, so a great effort from all.

The 'Quins photos are here but before you nip off to see your son's exploits, here's some shameless advertising (after all, what are friends for?) : If you've an open fire or log-burning stove and an inclination towards sustainable energy sources you may be interested in what I've been up to in the last couple of months. If so, let me know and I'll bring some along to the club next Sunday.
I'll give 50p to the Club for every bag I sell, so it's in a good cause, and you'll have at least one rugby player with you to carry them to your car: what could be more convenient?

All the best,

Martin.
